Went there for breakfast on Sundays. Despite the information over the phone that tables would generally not be reserved, almost all tables were reserved. Several other families received the same false information over the phone. However, the staff was helpful and there was still enough seating. The breakfast menu offers few options, none of which are vegan. The only hearty vegetarian option is the cheese breakfast. The cheese is very good, but a few hearty spreads would certainly be feasible for the price. In general, almost everything was organic and of good quality. The amount and presentation of the breakfasts is also very good. Surprisingly, the bread in this "bread school" was nothing special. Neither tasty nor crispy, it was normal bread, especially the rolls tasted more like the day before. When we were there the jam was out. This can of course happen, but it was not pointed out when ordering or serving the dishes that should contain jam. "Nobody will notice that" was obviously the attitude. The iced tea ordered was a cup of fruit tea and half a glass of ice cubes. The result was of course not an iced tea, but lukewarm fruit tea. The tea that was actually ordered as tea came with water that wasn't even hot enough for the taste to take hold. Despite the demand, it was apparently not possible to simply get freshly boiled water, but only the heated water from an apparently incorrectly set coffee machine. We were a little surprised that several dogs were taken into the restaurant by guests. Of course, there is inevitably barking and not the very best hygiene. I don't think it's fundamentally bad to allow dogs, but potential guests with allergies or children should be aware of that. Two of the staff I had direct contact with were incredibly friendly and accommodating, while the other two were cranky and unfriendly.

Cozy corner. You can calmly rest from the hustle and bustle with a cup of coffee.

I will never !!!!! again crave something from the bread school to me, the Reformation bread that I had with my Sunday coffee today was so bad taste (from at least the day before yesterday !!!! !!!!!!!!!) Cozy bakery with a fairly large café in Leipzig's Kolonnadenviertel with a great breakfast selection. We had the pampering breakfast for 2 with everything our heart desires! :) Very tasty and high quality products, good coffee and a very nice team. If I lived in the area, I would love to attend one of the baking courses on offer, great idea!

First of all, the sandwich was very good. And the place is clean too. The service was so average-friendly. In the end, they refused to take back the returnable returnable bottle from FritzCola. On vacation rather annoying when you are sent out with the empty bottle that you bought in the shop. I know this is about a penny, but that was really no customer service. Anyway, I'll be going to another store soon.

A very nice café in the city center and nicely tucked away so that it is relatively quiet there. There is also a really nice large selection of delicious cakes and hot drinks. 😋 The corner with the armchairs is particularly cozy.

Hygiene is really not very important here. They constantly hold their faces, no gloves or face masks are worn. Operation super unfriendly and annoyed ... Food was delicious, but sometimes the rolls were very dry (as if they were from yesterday) and you got 7 slices of Leerdammer at the pampering breakfast and not a slice of Gouda (the cheese everyone likes 🙈) homemade lemonade consists of water, a dash of supermarket syrup and 3.4 leaves of lemon balm 😅

It's okay, but not more than that. The breakfast for 2 (24 euro) had more fruits than cheese or ham. The salami was was not even enough for one bread so that 2 people could try it. Also the bread was okay but going to a 'brot Schule' i expected more than okay.

It is very pleasant to have breakfast as a group / family. The very nice ambience offers enough space and also a play area for children. You can clearly taste the quality of the breads and rolls from the delicious aroma. There is also a diverse, lovingly decorated side dish and a large selection of drinks.

Nicely decorated, fresh, good quality, not cheap ... Furnished according to the concept of "PANO" and others: cozy, lots of space, with a small bakery. Very good coffee, licking and plenty of busy, nice cake. The service moderately friendly (it was 08.30, so probably too early for a smile). Great for breakfast. Relatively expensive: prices at Munich level. Recommended.

Look top, flair and service well .... We tried different cakes and the Leipziger bread. The taste was good but not special. The store is nicely designed and the products all look great. The service left a lot to be desired. The saleswoman could almost no German and did not know what kind of bread is. In addition, all 3 types of cake were tendered but not all there ??? Well, there is something to be improved.

It is very cozy here. Also, the dishes are fresh and plentiful ... And of course the homemade cake and bread 😍 the salads are very large and pricey, maybe you make some for the small appetite and a bit cheaper.

Super delicious breakfast. Nice and courteous ladies at the counter. We had pre-ordered and asked for a "birthday table". The table was nicely decorated. The only drawback, do not sit in the winter in the vicinity of the doors, it is cold ...

The most delicious breakfast in Leipzig. Breakfast for 2 persons, incl. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Very nice prepared, plenty of choice and perfectly adequate. The rolls are also really great. Gladly again.

We had the breakfast menu for two with orange juice and sparkling wine. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is great! You sit very comfortably and immediately feel good. In addition, the menu was really cheap from my point of view. I will gladly come again!

Very unfriendly staff. They would always find a reason to complain (if children are playing in the corner that is intended for children, or if we sit on a table that in their mind is too big for us, or if we sit in the area that they are planning on cleaning [who vacumes at 4 pm when their shop closes at 6?]). They are unfriendly without a reason, too. At the counter, when I just come by to get bread, they seem to be unfriendly just because they feel like it. There is only one (!) person on the counter who is friendly; cudos to him for working in such a gloomy atmosphere and still having a smile for the customer. I’ve been there at least ten times and every time I swear I won’t go back, but I still do because it’s close to where I live and the bread is good, albeit overpriced.

A nice mix of bakery and bistro with self-service. The interior design goes well together and exudes a cozy flair. We were very impressed with the abundance of breakfast for two! Really tasty and sufficient. The price-performance ratio fits really very well. The staff is very friendly and hardworking. We would love to come back.

There were two of us and we had the three kinds of cheese breakfast. The rolls are massive, the cheese platter with fruit and jam is plentiful and freshly prepared. The butter could be a little more. The ambience is super, totally cozy, you feel really good. The star deduction is there because the staff was a bit rude to us. We spent 7.50 euros and paid extra for the coffee / cocoa. The price-performance ratio fits very well. The toilets are clean and spacious.

The sandwiches at this place are pretty awesome and the prices are very reasonable. Coffee is average like every other bakery. Service is awful: after being pressured by the looming cashier to order as quickly as possible, husband got yelled at for just pointing at a sandwich in the case and describing the location (in German) instead of saying the name. Some other customers asked for salt and pepper shakers and got told "Just go look for them!" How can you be so grumpy surrounded by wonderful freshly-baked bread all day? A mystery.

Nicely decorated, always friendly staff, even if it is often almost full here - which speaks for the quality. And the most important thing: it tastes simple and gives great menus.

Excellent, delicious muesli, and reasonably priced! Baked goods were yummy, too. Couldn't recommend more highly for breakfast.

Best breakfast in Leipzig! Great atmosphere, friendly people, and top quality food and coffee. Totally worth the visit.
